It is also the total sum of the long-term impact decisions that an organization makes over time- classified either as intended impact (Planned Strategy) or actual impact a mixture of intended and unintended (Emergent Strategy). Facilitating strategy workshops
Facilitating strategy workshops involves guiding a group of individuals through a collaborative process of developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational goals. The facilitator’s role is to ensure that all participants are engaged in the process, encourage open communication, manage conflicts, and keep the group focused on the goals of the workshop. The facilitator should have a clear understanding of the organization’s objectives, challenges, and opportunities to design and structure the workshop in a way that addresses the specific needs of the organization.
During the workshop, the facilitator should encourage all participants to share their ideas and perspectives using various techniques such as brainstorming, mind-mapping, SWOT analysis, and prioritization to help the group develop a comprehensive and effective strategy. In organizing and facilitating these workshops, we introduce, train, and involve the leadership of your organization in co-creating the strategy for your organization. This, in fact, is our preferred modus operandi for Strategy Creation. This not only delivers a business strategic direction and the over-arching plans to deliver it, but it also creates strategic thinkers in your organization so that you can then sustain the iterative adaptation of strategy to changing environments.
